Dane Brugler of The Athletic probably had something similar in mind when he released his power rankings for all 32 teams based on their 2018 draft class. It’s a good way of gauging a player’s personal development and a team’s ability to build through the draft. It’s important to revisit past draft classes to try to measure the success they’ve had with the organization. Each of these players now have three years under their belt in the NFL and are entering the ever important contract year, including Leighton Vander Esch after the Cowboys decided not to pick up his fifth-year option.
